Dr Jenna Cox is dedicated to providing evidence-based care with a strong emphasis on communication.
She is committed to a patient-centred approach ensuring that each patients’ needs, values and concerns are respected while delivering high-quality care.
Dr Cox completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Griffith University in 2014, followed by a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (MPHTM) at James Cook University. She undertook her medical training at Townsville University Hospital before advancing to clinical and laboratory haematology training across several major institutions, including Townsville University Hospital, Toowoomba Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Mater Hospital Brisbane, Australian Red Cross Lifeblood, and Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Holding dual fellowships with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA), Dr Cox is actively engaged in clinical research and remains committed to advancing the field of haematology. She is a member of leading research groups, including the Australasian Leukaemia and Lymphoma Group (ALLG) and the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand (HSANZ).
