Dr Andrea Tazbirkova

Dr Andrea Tazbirkova is a Gold Coast based Medical Oncologist who has a particular interest in breast and gynaecological cancers with an extensive experience in managing broad range of solid tumour types including gastrointestinal, urogenital, lung, skin and CNS malignancies.

Dr Tazbirkova has always been passionate about research and new advances in the field of medical oncology. She presented her work at multiple national and international meetings and published in peer review journals.

She is an active investigator on a number of clinical trials ranging from early phase to large international phase III trials.

She is committed to staying in the forefront of new cancer treatment developments and ensuring that her patients have access to novel cancer drugs and cutting-edge clinical trials.

Dr Tazbirkova offers an empathetic and caring attitude towards her patients. She regularly attends a number of multidisciplinary team meetings and strongly believes in the importance of integrating other health care professionals and general practitioners into patients’ oncological plans.
