Dr Animesh Mishra

Dr Animesh Mishra completed his medical degree with First Class Honours from The University of Sydney in 1999.

He initially attained a fellowship in General Practice but then decided to pursue his longstanding interest in gastroenterology.

Animesh completed his gastroenterology training at Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals in Sydney before taking up positions as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in Sydney, Canberra, Gosford, Wyong and Port Macquarie. This allowed him to broaden his experience prior to joining The Gastrointestinal Centre in August 2010.

Animesh looks forward to providing a caring, comprehensive and professional service including general gastroenterology and hepatology consultation, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), capsule endoscopy, gastroscopy and colonoscopy. His interests include both inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel disorders.

Animesh conducts general gastroenterology consultations at The Pindara Professional Centre, John Flynn Medical Centre, Ballina Day Surgery and Tweed Day Surgery. He is available to carry out procedures at Pindara Private Hospital, John Flynn Hospital, Ballina Day Surgery and Tweed Day Surgery. Animesh also provides an on-call and inpatient service at Pindara and Gold Coast Private Hospitals.
