Dr Charles New

Dr New has been in practice in the Penrith and North Western Sydney region for 25 years following his sub-specialty training Fellowships in the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States in spinal pathology. His practice specialises in all spinal pathology, particularly the lumbar spine.

He currently has appointments at Westmead Private Hospital and in the public system at Nepean Hospital. Dr New have a particular interest in orthopaedic and spinal rehabilitation and liaise closely with Dr John Obeid at the Hills Hospital Rehabilitation Unit.

He hold the positions of Adjunct Professor with the University of Sydney, Sydney Medical School - Nepean, coordinating the musculoskeletal medicine for Graduate medical students, and Conjoint Associate Professor at Western Sydney University.

Dr New is happy to see private, workers compensation, third party, Medicare and pensioner patients with spinal issues.

Dr New main consulting rooms are at Penrith and all appointments should be arranged through these rooms. For the convenience of those patients in the Richmond, Windsor, Castle Hill, Blacktown and surrounding areas, He also consults on Tuesdays at Meridian Place, Bella Vista.
