Mr Damien Tange

Mr Damien Tange is an experienced neurosurgeon with a scope of practice beyond his particular clinical interest in brain tumours.

He has experience in all types of spinal surgery, from minimally invasive type surgery to major fusion surgery and has a reputation for pursuing a conservative approach where possible.

Mr Tange is the Clinical Chair of the neuro-oncology service at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

Patients may be referred directly to his rooms at John Fawkner Private Hospital or to his Kew rooms. Patients are also able to be sent via the Emergency Department at John Fawkner Private Hospital if they require direct urgent inpatient assessment. 

Mr Tange operates regularly at John Fawkner Private Hospital and provides emergency cover in neurosurgery to the hospital.

Urgent appointments are always available and staff will be able to arrange immediate admission if required.
