Dr Joshua Sliverman

Dr Joshua Silverman is a consultant urologist practicing at the Gold Coast University Hospital and at Gold Coast Private Hospital. With a strong commitment to patient-centered care, he specialises in prostate disease, particularly in sexual function preserving treatments for both benign and malignant conditions.

Dr Silverman completed his medical degree and basic surgical training in the UK before relocating to New Zealand, where he completed his Urology training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. To further refine his expertise, he pursued a fellowship in prostate disease, focusing on minimally invasive and sexual function preserving treatments including Rezum and Aquablation.

Returning to the Gold Coast, Dr Silverman now applies his advanced skills to improve patient outcomes in the region. His subspecialty interests include prostate and bladder cancer management and novel techniques for managing benign prostatic enlargement (BPE) ensuring patients receive the latest and most effective treatment options.
