Dr Simon Parfitt

Dr Parfitt is a consultant Orthopaedic surgeon experienced in both upper and lower limb trauma and general Orthopaedics. Dr Parfitt operates at Sunnybank Private Hospital. He has an interest in problems of the knee, hip and shoulder and has competed further subspecialist training in these areas.

Dr Parfitt immigrated to Australia from New Zealand to pursue a degree in medicine from the University of Queensland medical school. He spent his initial years working at the two major trauma hospitals in Brisbane where he developed an interest in surgery, and orthopaedics in particular.

After completing his orthopaedic training, he undertook further subspecialist training in Adult Lower Limb Arthroplasty and Reconstruction as well as Advanced Upper Limb Surgery.
