In addition, he has completed another AOA accredited fellowship in Anterior Hip replacement and Lower Limb reconstruction with Mr Tony Dunin at Knox Orthopaedic Group and St Vincent’s Public Hospital.
He currently holds a visiting orthopaedic specialist position at St Vincent’s Hospital, Fitzroy. His commitment to teaching and research has led to several research publications in peer reviewed journals and book chapters.

Elango treats conditions of the foot and ankle.  He performs arthroscopic surgery of the foot and ankle, ligament and tendon reconstructions and fusion surgery.
He uses minimally invasive surgical (MIS) techniques for forefoot and hind foot surgery. These minimally invasive techniques result in smaller wounds/scar with quicker recovery. MIS surgery also decreases the risk of wound infection/break down and improves overall healing
