A/Prof Gamal Matthias is part of the Gynaecology, Obstetrics team at Healthscope. A/Prof Gamal Matthias founded Sydney Reproductive Immunology in 1995 as the first subspecialised clinic in the field in Australia.
A/Prof Matthias has spent his career studying and developing the field of reproductive immunology, building a global reputation for his expertise, experience, and works.
In addition to providing direct patient care, A/Prof Matthias conducts clinical research, and is heavily involved in both training and teaching. He also gives regular talks and lectures both nationally and internationally.
He is also a Senior Examiner with the Australian Medical Council (AMC), and Training Supervisor with the Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) for over 20 years.
