Ear, Nose and Throat

Graeme Crossland is a fellowship trained Ear, Nose and Throat surgeon. He has a special interest in disorders of the ear, and general ENT problems in children and adults.

Mr. Crossland graduated with from the University of Manchester (UK) in 1997. He completed training in ear nose and throat surgery in Cambridge in 2011.

Mr. Crossland completed further training in ear and hearing implantation surgery at the prestigious Otology and Skull Base unit in Cambridge, United Kingdom. This is a highly competitive fellowship that has a history of training many of Australia’s best ear surgeons.

In 2012, he undertook a one-year Fellowship appointment in Darwin, where locally there is a very high incidence of severe ear disease. Attracted by the lifestyle and the opportunity to help treat an incredible spectrum of challenging diseases, he decided to make Darwin his permanent home.

He has since helped establish a cochlear implant service in the Northern Territory and developed new, innovative, surgical techniques for managing ear disease. He regularly visits remote communities as well as consulting at the Royal Darwin Hospital and Darwin Private Hospital.
