Mr Jens Peters-Willke

Neurosurgery

Mr Peters-Willke holds dual Neurosurgical Fellowship qualification from Germany (MD) and  the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).

He was born in Germany and completed his medical degree at Martin-Luther-University in Halle in 1996. During his training, he worked in University Hospital in Halle (orthopaedics 1997- 1998).

He trained under the supervsion of Professor Hans-Joerg Meisel, BG Kliniken “Bergmannstrost” Halle, Germany to complete his Neurosurgical Specialist training in 2004. (Facharzt fuer Neurochirurgie).

In 2005, he migrated with his family to Australia. Since then, he worked at the neurosurgical unit in Perth, WA under Professor N Knucky. He also worked under Professor M Murphy in St Vincents Hospital, Melbourne.

In 2009, he obtained his Australian Neurosurgical Fellowship (FRACS).

Mr Peters-Willke enjoys exploring the latest technology and surgical techniques. He is currently operating at Mount Private Hospital.
