Dr Joel Budge

Dr Joel Budge is general surgeon with extensive laparoscopic experience in both upper and lower gastrointestinal surgery.  He has developed an increasing focus on bariatric surgery, having been inspired by the mulitdimensional improvements in patient health and quality of life following weight loss surgery in a the setting of a holistic clinic.   Joel trained at the University of NSW and completed colorectal and upper GI post graduate fellowships in Canberra, Liverpool and Wollongong.  Joel is part of our general surgery team at Newcastle Private Hospital.
