Dr Man-Shun Wong is a General Surgeon with specialised training in Endocrine and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery. He earned his medical degree at the University of Queensland and completed his general surgical training on the Gold Coast.
Dr Wong furthered his expertise with a two-year fellowship in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at the Gold Coast University Hospital, focusing on oesophageal, gastric and bariatric surgery. Simultaneously, he held an Honorary Bariatric Fellowship at the Holy Spirit Hospital. He continued his sub-specialty training at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, where he became one of the few Australians to complete the prestigious International TS Reeve Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery.
Passionate about teaching, Dr Wong serves as a Senior CCrISP (Care of the Critically ill Surgical Patient) instructor with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) and holds a Senior Lecturer position at the University of Queensland. He has presented at various international conferences, authored publications, and received the Best Clinical Research prize at the Annual Scientific Conference.
