Dr Parkinson is a neurosurgeon at Prince of Wales Private Hospital. He is a highly qualified and fellowship trained spinal and neurointerventional neurosurgeon who trained extensively both here and in the US. Dr Parkinson’s particular areas of focus include physical rehabilitation in professional athletes, spinal care and rehabilitation in high functioning military personnel and neurosurgical care of remote and indigenous people. Dr Parkinson also has a particular interest in sports injuries and the treatment of spinal injuries as they pertain to sport injury and has one of Australia’s largest series of Percutaneous Spinal Fusion surgery.
