Prof Rina Hui is a Clinical Professor at the University of Sydney and a Senior Medical Oncologist at the Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre, Westmead Hospital.
After completing her medical degree at the University of Sydney and advanced training at Royal North Shore Hospital, Rina undertook translational research in molecular biology of breast cancer at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and was awarded a PhD degree. Her major clinical interests are lung cancer and breast cancer management.
She serves as Co-Chair of Oncology Block at the University of Sydney. She is the Head of Clinical Trials at the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute, a member of the clinical advisory board and research advisory committee of the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute, a member of the Medical Oncology Group of Australia Expert Group for lung cancer, a member of the Breast Cancer Trials and the Australasian Lung Cancer Trials Group. She was a member of the Immuno-Oncology Program Committee for World Conference for Lung Cancer 2018 and currently serves as a member of the ESMO 2021 scientific committee.
Rina is the principal investigator for many clinical trials in lung and breast cancers, including phase I, II and III clinical studies of immunotherapy and targeted therapies in non-small cell lung cancer and breast cancer.
