Dr Sameer Tatavarty Bharatam

Dr. Sameer Tatavarty is a cardiologist primarily trained at the Prince Charles Hospital and then at the Gold Coast University Hospital.

He is a published academic researcher and an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine. He has a focus in the field of clinical cardiology, with a particular clinical interest in heart failure management, echocardiography, preventative medicine and lipid management.

He is proficient in Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Trans-oesophageal echocardiography (TOE) and treadmill stress testing +/- TTE support.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Queensland after attaining his bachelor’s in Hons. Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ottawa in Canada.
