Dr Samuel Heitner is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician working in Sydney.
He is the founder of Telebaby, offering Telehealth video consultations for newborns up to the age of 12 months, along with an Acute Telehealth service for children of all ages who are currently unwell. Available Australia-wide, 7 days a week.
Samuel is a paediatric consultant in the Emergency Department at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and at Liverpool Hospital. Alongside this, he works as a paediatrician at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital (SSWPH) providing care for babies in the special care nursery, as well as the post-natal ward.
In addition to his practical experience, Samuel is also a Clinical Associate Lecturer with The University of Sydney where he conducts clinical research and teaches medical students and nurses as well as a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Physician (FRACP) – Paediatrics & Child Health Division.
Dr Heitner is passionate about the care of newborns, with a special interest in the unsettled baby, reflux and milk allergies. Over the course of his many years of experience, Dr Heitner has been treating hundreds of newborns with formula intolerance, feeding difficulties, inability to settle, reflux, poor weight gain, allergies and more.
