Dr Soundappan Sannappa Venkatraman

Dr Soundappan is a General Paediatric Surgeon. He is a Senior Staff Specialist and Head of Trauma at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) at Norwest Private Hospital. He is also Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Surgery at The University of Sydney.

Dr Soundappan completed his undergraduate training from Madras Medical College, India in 1989. He completed his Paediatric Surgery training from The Institute of Child Health, Chennai in 1996 and moved to Sydney in 2002.

Dr Soundappan obtained fellowship in Paediatric Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008. He is also Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Surgery at The University of Sydney.
