Dr Ding is an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She was trained overseas and worked in Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Beijing, China for more than ten years before migrating to Australia. PUMCH is a tertiary hospital in China and famous for dealing with complicated medical cases from all over the country. During her time there, Dr Ding successfully oversaw a wide range of obstetric and gynaecologic cases, and developed exceptional surgical skills.
After migrating to Australia in 2006, Dr Ding has worked across several major Sydney hospitals. Having worked in Australia for over 10 years, she has enriched her familiarity with local clinical cases and enhanced her surgical skills, and is confidently able to address any challenges which may arise throughout your care. She received her RANZCOG fellowship in 2018 after taking the overseas-trained specialist assessment.
Dr Ding is passionate about women’s health and devotes her time to supporting her obstetric and gynaecological patients as well as their families in her pursuit to deliver the highest quality of patient-centred care. Furthermore, she is well experienced in high-risk pregnancy, including but not limited to pre-eclampsia, placenta accreta, gestational diabetes, and twins. She is committed to minimising any potential risks associated with your childbirth.
She has excellent surgical skills in laparoscopic surgery, abdominal surgery and vaginal surgery. She can consult in English and Mandarin (中文) per your preference.
She operates in Campbelltown Private Hospital, Strathfield Private Hospital, Campbelltown Hospital and Canterbury Hospital.
Dr Ding is appointed by RANZCOG as a supervisor to ITP and DRANZCOG trainees. She is also proactively involved in teaching medical students and junior medical doctors.
