Dr Jared Weston

Dr Jared Weston is an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Head and Neck Surgeon providing comprehensive care for both adult and paediatric patients. He has particular expertise in sinus surgery and a special interest in the assessment and management of conditions that overlap between dentistry and ENT, including paediatric airway concerns, nasal obstruction and sinus disease.

Dr Weston initially graduated with a Bachelor of Dentistry from The University of Queensland and practised dentistry in both Brisbane and Sydney. He subsequently completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Sydney, before undertaking specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery throughout Queensland. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery upon completion of his training.

Dr Weston holds a public appointment at Logan Hospital and serves as a Senior Lecturer with The University of Queensland. He is actively involved in the education and mentoring of medical students, junior doctors and surgical trainees, and has presented and published research at both national and international levels.

Known for his calm and approachable manner, Dr Weston is committed to providing clear, easy-to-understand explanations of complex conditions and treatment options. He values collaborative care and works closely with General Practitioners, Dentists and specialist colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients.

Dr Weston is passionate about improving access to specialist healthcare in regional and remote communities. His outreach work has included service trips to the Pacific Islands, Far North Queensland through the Deadly Ears program, and humanitarian medical missions in Uganda, Kenya and Bangladesh.

Outside of medicine, Dr Weston lives in Brisbane with his wife and three children. He enjoys swimming, surfing, basketball, and the ongoing pursuit of the perfect flat white.
