Dr Mohit Bajaj

Dr Mohit Bajaj is an Australasian-trained Urologist with advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery. He is committed to patient-centred, evidence-based care making sure patients fully understand their diagnosis and play an active role in treatment decisions. His clinical interests include prostate cancer, kidney cancer, kidney stones, and contemporary treatments for benign prostate enlargement.

Dr Bajaj completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and undertook Urology training in Australia and New Zealand, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS – Urology).

He was awarded a travelling fellowship through the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) and completed sub-specialty training at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in the United Kingdom, where he gained further experience in upper and lower urinary tract robotic procedures, including robotic prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy and urogenital reconstruction.

He completed an additional fellowship at Frimley Park Hospital in the UK, focusing on retroperitoneal robotic kidney surgery. Following completion of his training, Dr Bajaj was admitted as a member of the International Postgraduate Deanery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Bajaj manages a broad range of general urological conditions, including kidney stones, urological cancers (bladder, testis, kidney, and prostate) and treatments for benign prostate enlargement. He has undertaken extensive training in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP).

He is committed to ensuring patients have clear, accessible information about their condition and are actively involved in forming a management plan aligned with their individual needs and preferences.
