Dr Abdullah Shamimudeen

Dr Shamimudeen is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who was trained in India and the UK and did a fellowship in Canada in 2000.  He has been working as a Consultant orthoapaedic surgeon In Australia for the last 7 years. He has practiced as a specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon in both the private and public sectors for the past 13 years. He is an Orthopaedic consultant at Logan Hospital and holds a teaching appointment at Griffith University.

Dr Shami’s areas of expertise include knee, hip and shoulder surgery ranging from arthroscopy to joint replacements. He has a particular clinical interest in uncemented arthroplasties of all three joints which can generally be done in most patients with adequate bone stock.

Dr Shami is well versed with most common orthopaedic trauma surgery and general orthopaedics.
