Dr Aiden O'Loughlin is an interventional cardiologist. He completed advanced training at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Westmead Hospital in Sydney and Stanford Hospital in the United States.
He has a Masters degree in Biostatistics and Clinical Trials and a Doctor of Philosophy by publication. His current research themes include atherosclerosis and medical device biodesign.
Dr O'Loughlin's current appointment is as an academic interventional cardiologist at Western Sydney University.
Dr O’Loughlin has over 10 years’ experience as a clinical and interventional cardiologist. He has performed thousands of coronary, cardiac, and peripheral procedures.
Dr O'Loughlin is an Advisor to the Advisory Committee for Medical Devices of the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia.
