Dr Albert Tiu

Dr Albert Tiu is a urological surgeon with extensive training and experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He has special interests and expertise in urinary tract and kidney stone disease, and in particular the treatment and management of all genitourinary cancers (prostate/ bladder/ kidney/ testes/ penis/ adrenal).

Dr Tiu received his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 1999 and completed his advanced urological training in various hospitals in New South Wales. He is one of the few urologist who has completed dual international fellowships in complex urological cancer surgery and robotic surgery. Since returning to Newcastle after completing a prestigious fellowship at the University of Miami, Florida, USA, Dr Tiu has performed the largest number of robotic cases in the Hunter Region.

He continues to work together with GP's to offer comprehensive urological services to the private and public patients.
