Dr Alia Vemuri

Dr Alia Vemuri is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Darwin Private Hospital. She grew up in Darwin and undertook her primary and secondary schooling here before embarking on her medical studies in Adelaide. 

Dr Alia Vemuri graduated from Flinders University of South Australia in 2008. 

She completed her advanced Obstetrics and Gynaecology qualifications - after having worked in a number of hospitals in Perth, Canberra, Launceston, Adelaide and Darwin. Until recently, she has been an examiner of the Royal Australia & New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and enjoys teaching the next generation of doctors. 

Dr Alia Vemuri takes great pleasure in returning home and offering Territory women obstetrics and gynaecological care. In particular she enjoys supporting women in their journey to motherhood & watching Territory families grow and prosper. 

She has booking rights in Darwin Private Hospital and Royal Darwin Hospital.
