Dr Alison Blatt

Dr Alison Blatt is a Urological Surgeon who offers a full range of general adult urological services as well as focussing on benign voiding disorders, oncology, female urology and stone disease. 

Dr Blatt completed her medical degree at the University of Newcastle, passing with Honours.  She spent her training years in various posts around NSW.  Her clinical fellowship spent at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, UK , practising uro-oncology and robotic surgery with the leading UK surgeon-scientist Professor David Neal.  After completing her FRACS in Urology, Dr Blatt commenced full-time research studying benign voiding disorders using electron microscopy analysis of the detrusor muscle of the bladder.  She received her Master of Surgery degree from the University of Sydney in 2010.  Dr Blatt remains committed to continuing professional development and has authored and contributed to a number of peer reviewed journal articles as well as writing book chapters for medical tests.  She regularly attends professional conferences to ensure she remains up to date with the latest research and advances in Urology.
