Dr Amber Biscoe

Amber Biscoe is a dual trained Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist with broad interests in general haematology, both malignant and non-malignant. She graduated from UNSW, before working at Prince of Wales and other hospitals in and around Sydney during her post graduate training.

Post fellowship she spent some time in private practice and as a staff specialist at Gosford Hospital, before taking the opportunity to join the team at Northern Beaches Hospital in 2019 as a Visiting Medical Officer.

She is now a Staff Specialist Haematologist and Head of Unit for the Haematology Group at NBH.

In addition, Amber is a Laboratory Haematologist at Laverty Pathology, a Clinical Lecturer at Macquarie University and an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. She has completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney and places a strong emphasis on evidence based patient centred care.
