Dr Anand Venkataraman

Dr Anand is a locally trained Cardiologist.  After graduating medical school from UWA, he completed cardiology training in Perth and further fellowship training in echocardiography at Fiona Stanley Hospital as well as advanced fellowship training in Vancouver, Canada through the University of British Columbia. Anand has American Board qualification in echocardiography and Cardiac CT. 

He has interests in all aspects of general cardiology including cardiac risk/chest pain assessment, and heart failure. He has subspecialty interest in assessment and management of valvular and structural diseases of the heart and in advanced cardiac imaging including stress, transoesophageal and intraprocedural echocardiography. He is actively involved in assessment and procedural imaging support for various structural and current and emerging trans-catheter valvular interventions.
