Dr Andreas Loefler

Dr Andreas Loefler is an Orthopaedic Surgeon at Prince of Wales Private Hospital with a particular interest in hip and knee replacement and spine surgery.

He graduated from the University of Sydney in 1984 having previously gained a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of Zambia. Dr Loefler completed basic surgical training in Canberra and his advanced training on the Sydney Orthopaedic Training Scheme. During his training Dr Loefler attended the course on Emergency Management of Severe Trauma and was awarded the ANZAC Travelling Fellowship of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

After completing formal training Dr Loefler undertook additional courses in spinal and trauma surgery in Europe, including completing a Fellowship in C.D. Spinal instrumentation in France.
