Dr Andrew Lennox graduated in Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 1988 and he has a Master of Science from the University of London. He completed his training in Sydney, St Mary’s Hospital in London and the Arizona Heart Institute in the United States of America.
Dr Lennox has over 20 years’ experience in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery with special interest in aortic, carotid, peripheral and venous interventions. He focuses on world leading minimally invasive endovascular technologies and one of the first Vascular Surgeons in Australia to provide new techniques to his patients.
In 2007, Dr Lennox was appointed Head of Department for Vascular Surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney Children’s Hospital and Royal Hospital for Women. He is an essential member of the Kidney Transplant Team performing cadaveric and living-related transplants for the East Coast Renal Services in the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District.
For over 10 years Dr Lennox has provided Vascular Surgery assistance to Neurosurgeons in Sydney and Gosford performing the anterior approach to the spine for ALIF and disc replacement surgery.
In addition to his surgical practice, Dr Lennox is an active member on The Board of Vascular Surgery for Australia and New Zealand overseeing the Vascular Surgery Education and Training Program. He is also the Principal Supervisor for the Prince of Wales Vascular Fellowship program providing world class training for international vascular trainees.
