Dr Angelo Rando is a Queensland trained Orthopaedic Surgeon graduating from university in 1995. He brings 20 years of experience to Clinical Practice at Gold Coast Hand and Upper Limb Clinic which he established in 2006.
Dr Rando is a member of AHSS (Australian Hand Surgery Society) and SESA (Shoulder Elbow Society Australia).
As the current Secretary of the Queensland Hand Surgery Society, Dr Rando is involved in developing training and organisation of Society meetings focusing on up-to-date education and research within the Hand Society. Dr Rando has also been elected as the Secretary of the Queensland Shoulder Society.
Dr Rando has received both local and international training in:
Brisbane – PA Hospital - Hand Unit, Spain, France and Italy.
He has Visited the MAYO Clinic and Involved in laboratory workshops looking at new innovative wrist and hand arthroscopy techniques to bring new and innovative treatment to his practice.
The Gold Coast Hand and Upper Limb Clinic has, for 20 years, established a multidisciplinary approach to orthopaedic care with several modalities of treatment available onsite by trained therapists and the ability to communicate with Dr Rando to optimise rehabilitation pre- and post-surgery.
