Dr Anil Asthana

Dr Asthana is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist.

Dr Asthana completed his medical degree at King’s College London, U.K. and is a member of both the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). His advanced training in Gastroenterology was at The Alfred Hospital and Box Hill Hospital in Melbourne.

Dr Asthana is the current chair of the National Australian Gastroenterology Council Private Practice Network and on the education committee for the International Bowel Ultrasound Committee.

Following completion of his Gastroenterology training in Melbourne Dr Asthana travelled to Italy and Germany for further experience and fellowship training in intestinal ultrasound.
