Dr Avanthi Mandaleson is an experienced Hand and Upper Limb surgeon focussing on adult and paediatric
trauma, degenerative and sports injuries of the elbow, wrist and hand.
Avanthi completed her medical training at Monash University and holds a fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and an international fellowship in hand and upper limb surgery, in plastics and orthopaedics.
Avanthi is a Visiting Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Austin Hospital and Hand Surgeon at Monash Health where she is involved in teaching and training medical students, Orthopaedic surgeons and Hand Fellows.
She continues her involvement in research and education through the University of Melbourne.
