Dr Barry Slon

Dr Barry Slon has 25 years of experience as a Doctor, and 13 years experience in Pain Medicine.

He completed his medical degree in Cape Town, worked in a variety of different medical disciplines, after which he became a Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, and later on also achieved Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of this same College.

He has experience in anaesthesia, acute pain, chronic pain and palliative care, and is skilled at treating most clinical presentations of pain. He is able to offer a truly comprehensive approach to his patients, with a range of treatments including interventions, medication management, and psycho-behavioural techniques.

He sees TAC, WorkCover, privately insured and uninsured patients.

Dr Slon undertakes to take personal responsibility for his patient’s care.
