Mr Basil D'souza

Mr Basil D'Zouza achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010. Following this he undertook four years of general and advanced training with fellowships at the Northern Hospital Epping, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney and the Western Hospital in Melbourne. Basil completed his advanced training through the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) in 2014.

Mr D’Souza is also proficient in laparoscopic hernia and gallbladder surgery.

Patients commonly seek his help for investigation of anaemia, rectal bleeding, bowel cancer, and hernias.

He has a keen interest in research and has written several award-winning publications. Basil is actively involved in the teaching, training and supervision of research of medical students, surgical trainees and fellows.
