Dr Ben Williams

Dr Ben Williams’ surgical interests include knee, hip and upper limb surgery as well as orthopaedic trauma and sports injuries.

He worked in both Royal Darwin and Alice Springs Hospitals during his training and recognised the Territory as a fantastic place to live.

Dr Williams completed medical training at the University of Adelaide in 2004 and completed Orthopaedic Training in SA and the NT from 2013 to 2017.

During his training, Dr Williams was fortunate to be mentored in a wide range of orthopaedic procedures by internationally recognised surgeons and has worked in a number of major trauma centres. He is trained in advanced techniques such as arthroscopic (key hole) surgery and modern approaches to pain relief that improve post operative recovery.

He understands the importance of clear communication with patients and their family as well as other doctors and the allied health team. He is keen to help patients with their orthopaedic condition and looks forward to being active in the Darwin and Territory community.

Dr Williams consults at Darwin Private Hospital suites every Monday.
