Dr Benjamin Jacobson

Dr Jacobson is a consultant cardiologist with particular expertise in echocardiography, stress echocardiography and general cardiology. He has particular clinical interests in the primary prevention of heart disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and ischaemic heart disease.
As a graduate of The University of Melbourne he undertook his cardiology training at the Austin and Repatriation Hospital and Northern Hospital in Melbourne, and completed training at The Canberra Hospital with further Fellowship training in echocardiography and stress echocardiography.
Ben has been involved in clinical research and academic roles and has completed a research degree at The Australian National University based on echocardiographic markers of preclinical left ventricular dysfunction.
Ben is working at The National Capital Hospital consulting rooms with Dr Darryl McGill (consultant cardiologist, TCH). He will be consulting and providing an echocardiography, stress echocardiography and stress testing service.
