Dr Binu Susan Kuruvilla

Dr Susan Kuruvilla is an expert in general cardiology, heart failure, hypertension and chest pain. She has particular interest in women’s and geriatric cardiovascular care. Her fields of expertise include management of acute chest pain, long term care of ischaemic heart disease (including risk factor modification), medical management of arrhythmias, monitoring of valvular heart disease, heart failure, hypertension and other general cardiology issues.

She is available for the assessment and management of perioperative cardiovascular issues such as cardiovascular risk assessment, anticoagulation and antiplatelet management and management of perioperative issues like atrial fibrillation, heart failure and acute coronary syndromes.

Susan completed her physician’s training in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. She then completed her General Cardiology advanced training at Royal Perth Hospital and Hollywood Private Hospital.

Dr Kuruvilla is a consultant cardiologist at Hollywood Specialist Centre and Joondalup Health Campus. Her investigation expertise includes stress testing, holter monitoring, echocardiography, and angiographic assessment for patients.

She currently consults from Joondalup, Nedlands and Perth (Mount Medical Centre) rooms.
