Dr Brian Martin

Dr Brian Martin is a specialist orthopaedic surgeon whose mixed adult and paediatric practice provides expert treatment on conditions including: disorders of the foot and ankles; paediatric orthopaedics (lower limb); neuromuscular orthopaedics (in particular cerebral palsy) and lower limb treatment.

Having completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2001, Dr Brian Martin undertook his internship and Basic Surgical Training at The Royal Brisbane Hospital and the Mater Hospital in Brisbane. He completed his orthopaedic training in Sydney before successfully passing his Orthopaedic Fellowship exam in 2009.

For the following 12 months, Dr Martin participated in further subspecialty training in paediatric orthopaedics at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. In addition, he completed training in adult Foot and Ankle Surgery at Southmead and Frenchay Hospital in Bristol (UK).

Since completing his fellowship training and returning to Australia in 2011 and has established a private practice consulting at Rouse Hill and Penrith.
