Dr Caitlin Lim is a highly trained General Surgeon with a special interest in Breast Surgery, particularly Oncoplastic Surgery. Graduating with honours from the University of Melbourne, she completed her surgical training in the Southern network for General Surgery and achieved RACS Fellowship. In addition to her surgical training, she completed the BreastSurg ANZ Fellowship programme, culminating in her final year at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, the pioneer hospital in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery in Australia.
Dr Lim is a full member of BreastSurg ANZ, International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES), and ANZ Endocrine Surgeons. She actively participates in RACS activities, including the Younger Fellows Forum, and has chaired a Masterclass on Implant Reconstruction at the RACS Annual Scientific Conference.
Dr Lim also plays an active role in surgical education as an ASSET skills instructor and conjoint lecturer at the University of Western Sydney. Dr Lim has presented research at COSA (Clinical Oncology Society of Australia) and ASBD (Association of Breast Diseases) conferences. She offers a complete scope of care for Breast and Endocrine patients, including Benign Breast Conditions, Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, Breast Reconstruction, Breast Symmetrisation/Reduction, Thyroid Cancer, Goitre, Thyroid Nodules, and Graves Disease, as well as Primary and Secondary Hyperparathyroidism.
Aside from her specialties, Dr Lim is also fluent in Mandarin as a native speaker. With her extensive training and expertise, she is dedicated to providing the best care and service possible for her patients.
