Carly is an experienced, dedicated gynaecologist with over 20 years practice, caring for women with a wide range of gynaecological concerns.  She has a special interest in urogynaecology, particularly the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, and is skilled in vaginal, open and laparoscopic surgery.

She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Ireland and went on to undertake further fellowship training in Urogynaecology in Melbourne and in Advanced Endosurgery in Sydney.  Carly is known for her approachable, supportive manner and takes time to listen, explain options clearly, and work with her patients to find the most appropriate treatment for their individual needs.

In addition to her work at Empower Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Carly has public appointment as an Obstetrician Gynaecologist at Mercy Hospital for Women.  This enables her to mentor and support other Doctors and medical students.

In her time off she enjoys spending time with her children, partner and their dog.  Walking her dog, cooking and reading are her ways to relax after a busy day.
