Dr Carolyn Russell

Dr Carolyn Russell is a Paediatric surgeon who trained at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne before completing her training at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick. Following a fellowship year in Sydney, Dr Russell spent time travelling in Europe, meeting with prominent surgeons to learn techniques in her areas of interest, chest wall surgery and thoracic surgery. Dr Russell also performs newborn circumcision and newborn tongue tie release in her offices at Randwick and Gymea.

Dr Russell operates privately at Sydney Surgical Centre in Randwick and Sydney Southwest Private Hospital in Liverpool. Dr Russell has public hospital appointments at Sydney Children’s Hospital (SCH) in Randwick and Liverpool Hospital in Liverpool. She operates regularly at these public hospitals and has public outpatients clinics at Sydney Children’s Hospital.
