Dr Charana Perera

Dr Charana Perera is a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).

Dr Perera's special interest is the mental health landscape of current or ex-serving military personnel, including PTSD in military veterans. Committed to research and education, Dr Charana Perera has delivered multiple presentations at international forums and published in peer-reviewed journals. Having served in Queensland's public mental health sector for ten years, Dr Perera joined Pine Rivers Private Hospital in 2021.

Dr Perera accepts referrals for DVA medico-legal reports and impairment assessments.
