Dr Chinna Samy

Dr Chinna Samy is a Visiting Medical Officer at Pine Rivers Hospital, works five days a week, with extensive experience working in Public and Private health sector over the last 20 years and more. In 2020 Dr Samy was appointed as the Medical Director of Pine Rivers Private Hospital.

He provides T.M.S (Trans cranial Magnetic Stimulation) treatment for various psychological disorders between Monday to Friday as an Inpatient and provides Outpatient Clinic 5 days / week.

Dr Samy has presented at The American Psychiatric Association Conference on his work and results in T.M.S performed here at Pine Rivers Private Hospital.

Dr Chinna Samy works with Mood Disorders – Depression, Anxiety disorders, P.T.S.D., Bipolar disorders and with Cultural issues. A member of the Metro North Brisbane Medicare Local Dr Samy is helping develop Clinical pathways for depression. Medicare Locals aim to enhance integration of services, so that patients have timely access to well coordinated and comprehensive care.
