Associate Professor Chris Daly is a Gold Coast neurosurgeon and spine surgeon with a particular focus on minimally invasive and complex spine surgery with advanced training in the care of spine and brain conditions.
Dr Daly holds a PhD at Monash University, investigating adult stem cells in the treatment of lumbar degenerative disease and he continues to maintain an active and ongoing role in the research community, presenting at international conferences, publishing in leading academic journals, teaching and conducting clinical research at Gold Coast University Hospital and as an Associate Professor at Griffith University School of Medicine.
After completing his neurosurgical training in prominent neurosurgical centres throughout Australia, Associate Professor Chris Daly undertook the prestigious Vancouver Combined Neurosurgical and Orthopaedic Spine Fellowship in Vancouver, Canada. During his fellowship, Dr Daly worked with world-leading neurosurgical and orthopaedic spine surgeons which further advanced his surgical expertise and has enabled him to provide a balanced, holistic approach to patient care and treatment of spinal conditions.
Dr Daly is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Neurosurgery), active member of the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia and member of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. He consults and operates at Gold Coast Private Hospital for privately insured, Veteran Affairs and third-party insured patients and those involved in workers compensation claims. He consults and operates at Gold Coast University Hospital for uninsured patients.
