Dr Christopher Flood graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Tasmania in 1995. After completion of Advanced Training in Cardiology, he was appointed Interventional Fellow in Cardiology at Prince of Wales Hospital, one of the most highly regarded interventional units in Australia. During his time as Interventional Fellow, Dr Flood was able to effectively explore the numerous applications of coronary angioplasty, whilst performing hundreds of procedures.
Dr Flood entered private practice in 2004 and has successfully implanted thousands of coronary artery stents.
He has an interest in a wide range of cardiac disorders, with particular interest in minimally invasive treatment of severe coronary artery disease, diagnosing and managing chest pain.
