Christopher Huang is a neurosurgeon focussing on spine and cranial pathologies, in both adults and paediatrics.
He migrated to Sydney at a very young age from Taiwan before completing his schooling in Sydney and then obtaining Bachelors Degrees in Medical Science as well as Medicine and Surgery at the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney respectively.
Christopher commenced Neurosurgery training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and throughout training has worked at many major tertiary hospitals in Australia (focusing on all aspects of cranial and spinal surgery) including; Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Children’s Hospital Westmead, Royal North Shore Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital/Prince of Wales Hospital where he furthered his experience and knowledge after obtaining his fellowship.
He remains passionate and actively involved in teaching and research, including previous work that obtained the Best Presentation Award at the World Federation Neurosurgical Society Symposium in Kuala Lumpur in 2018.
Christopher is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), Australian Medical Association (AMA) and the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia (NSA).
