Chris has expertise in complex oncological surgeries of the liver, pancreas, and biliary tree. In addition, Chris operates on oesophageal and gastric cancers, as well as benign conditions including gallstones, hernias and obesity. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive approaches, including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Chris obtained his medical degree from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Surgery from Sydney University. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2019. He was subsequently accepted onto the prestigious Australian and New Zealand Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (ANZHPBA) Fellowship program, receiving the Padbury Trophy. He completed his fellowship at the highest volume pancreatic centre in Australia, Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) in Sydney. Chris’ academic papers have been published in high-impact factor journals. His research interests include cancer genomics and biomarkers in cystic pancreatic lesions.
Chris available for both public and private patients, making every effort to see patients as soon as possible upon referral, and within a week for new cancer diagnoses. |
