Dr Cristina Ciucanu

Dr Cristina Ciucanu is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician with admitting rights at The Hills Private Hospital. She completed her specialty training at Westmead and Nepean hospitals in Sydney and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2020.

She currently holds the position of Rehabilitation Staff Specialist at Blue Mountains District Hospital and combines her work with a dynamic private practice at The Hills Hospital. She is a consulting specialist doctor for the Rehabilitation Day Program with a weekly outpatients clinic and assesses suitable patients for the orthopaedic, cardiac, pulmonary, reconditioning and neurological rehabilitation programs.

Cristina is an active member of the Rehabilitation Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand. She is particularly interested in the fields of neurological rehabilitation, reconditioning, cardiac rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation.
