Mr Daniel Campbell

Dr Daniel Campbell is a specialist general surgeon who has been caring for patients in the Northern Territory for over 30 years.

He grew up in rural Queensland and studied medicine at the University of Queensland, graduating in 1976.

During his surgical training, Dr Campbell gained experience in a wide variety of specialties at several hospitals, including the Royal Brisbane, Prince Charles, Royal Children’s and the Townsville General Hospitals.

This experience provided an ideal foundation for him to work in Darwin.

Dr Campbell has a particular interest in laparoscopic surgery, including gastrointestinal, gallbladder, and anti-reflux surgery, as well as complicated hernia surgery.

A large part of his work involves diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy and he also has a keen interest in breast cancer and skin cancer surgery.
